Wedding Photos: Getting Ready

our wedding photos are in!!! ryan and i cannot say enough amazing things about our photographers - not only were they super professional and listened to everything we wanted, but they even got us our photos before the "due date". we were psyched. i figured i would go through SOME of OUR favorites from each part of the day, starting with all of us getting ready the morning of the big day.

i had such a special morning with all of the ladies. my sister and i slept in the hotel the night before (after the rehearsal dinner) so that we would have access to the room nice and early to start the beautification process. my moM, ryan's mom, the bridesmaids, the hair and makeup team, and other family and friends all spent the morning/afternoon in the suite enjoying breakfast, music, chatting, and anticipating the upcoming NUPTIALS. despite all of the craziness, i felt like it was a calm morning that i got to spend with some of the most important women in my life. my mom was sweet enough to bring in a woman to do yoga nidra, a meditative form of yoga where we focused on being present and fully enjoying the day. THE WHOLE MORNING I HAD LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OILS FILLING THE AIR THROUGH AN AROMA DIFFUSER. I REALLY WANTED TO CREATE A RELAXING, YET FUN VIBE TO START OFF ONE OF THE BEST DAYS EVER!

the men started the morning at our apartment, where they ate breakfast. after eating, they headed over to one of the groomsmen's hotel rooms to get ready. unlike the ladies who took from 8am - 1pm, the guys were good to go in about 20 minutes. boys...

ONE OF MY BRIDESMAIDS, TONI, GAVE ME MY "SOMETHING OLD": OLD LETTERS, TICKET STUBS, AND CARDS WE GAVE EACH OTHER. WE'VE KNOWN EACH OTHER SINCE AGE TEN, SO THE BAG WAS FILLED WITH MEMORIES.
