ryan and i have only been married for a little over two months, so it's not uncommon that we enjoy re-living our wedding day. we love sharing each other's perspectives and recapping the day from start to finish. one element of the day that we keep coming back to is our genuine appreciation for our photographer/videographer team, alex kaplan.
from our initial meeting back in august 2016, i was impressed with their work that decorated the office and throughout our engagement, the team was very responsive to my emails. we were also excited to learn how willing his team was to work with us on our specific requests. for example, we were strongly against doing a first look, which meant the time for pictures between the ceremony and cocktail hour would be tight. we worked with them and made it happen. in fact, we were on time for cocktail hour, which we were thrilled about. another element that was important to us was respecting the sanctity of the ceremony. we didn't want the photographers/videographers to be intrusive during the vows (or any other part of the ceremony for that matter!). and let me tell you, the team was so respectful the entire time. they got beautiful photos and we barely even noticed them! throughout the rest of the night, the same vibe continued. they got great shots, but did so in an entirely professional way. it was so much fun looking through all of the pictures from the nigh.! they captured everything from the little details i spent hours working on to fun group shots to sweet shots of ryan and i and everything in between. lastly, it was such a pleasant surprise when we got our pictures back to us in less than a month! even more impressive than that, it was two days before christmas, so to say they had a lot going on at that time would be an understatement. overall, alex kaplan and his team was a joy to work with. they maintained a level of professionalism that they carried with them throughout the entire day. CORRESPONDING with the office was always effortless, and the final products were outstanding. (check out the links at the end of the post for more photos!)
