Ryan and I went on our honeymoon to Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay, Jamaica, from Friday, March 30th to Friday, April 6th, and it was absolutely perfect. We got married a little over five months ago and knew we wanted to wait a bit before honeymooning. My spring break was this past week, so it was the ideal time to go. It gave us something to really look forward to post-wedding (and for the wedding craziness to wear off!) Here's a recap of the resort, the overall activities we did, and the food selections. Thanks for stopping by! The ResortOur resort was so, so beautiful. Ryan and I loved it because there were so many little nooks and crannies to spend time and relax. The Royal Caribbean also had a private off-shore island, with a continuous shuttle running back and forth. The island had a fantastic, authentic jerk shack, pool bar, Thai restaurant, and the infamous over-the-water bungalows (which we would LOVE to stay at one day when we're millionaires...) Our DaysThe days sort of meshed together, the way days do on vacation. Here's a quick recap!
It didn't take long to find these hammocks right outside of our hotel room. Thanks to the sweet woman who snapped the photo of the both of us! We loved these swings! ![]() We rented one of these BEAUTIFUL cabanas one day, which came fully stocked with its own cooler of beer and wine AND our own butler to go along with it! This very well may have been the most relaxing day of my entire life. The FoodOur resort had eight spots to grab something to eat, each one with a totally different vibe and cuisine. Early on in our trip, we headed to the Thai restaurant, which was one of our favorites because we got to sample a variety of different entrees and desserts (and they had a great signature cocktail!) Another of our favorite restaurants was The Regency, which was right over the water with a wonderful menu of surf and turf options. Next up is Le Jardinier, the French restaurant on the resort. We stopped here twice for breakfast, which was super beautiful. Check out how quaint this place is and how lovely the flowers are! There were a handful of other spots we LOVED, but I didn't get photos of everything unfortunately! Overall, this was a phenomenal vacation. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with a "welcome home, mon" and that vibe lasted the entire week. There's just something about how happy and welcoming everyone is in Jamaica. I think it's safe to say that it won't be long until we're back. Related Posts:
