long beach island

my in-laws have a home in manahawkin, nj, which is right before the bridge to get onto long beach island. while we enjoy going down during the warm summer months, we love going down in the off season. it has such a calm vibe and some of our favorite restaurants and shops are still open. on friday night, ryan and i headed down. we arrived around 8:30pm and picked up dinner from the local italian restaurant, brazzi's. on saturday, we woke up and headed to the beach for a walk with our dog, amber. (see pictures below!) then, we headed to galloway to visit my cousin and his wife, their 2-year-old, and newborn baby! after our afternoon visit, we headed back to my in-laws' home, ate dinner with them, and had a relaxing evening at home.
