giant (& affordable) candles
this massive scentsational three-wick candle scented midnight woods from marshalls. it fills the room in a way that's not overpowering; but has a light aroma of lavender, plum, cedar wood, and amber.
when i attended my master's ceremony last weekend, ryan surprised me with these beautiful flowers. lucky for us, they're staying strong and are still in great shape! (...and they're definitely a necessity during these cold winter months.)
i've always loved bath and body works, but i'm especially obsessed with their aromatherapy line. from scrubs to body butters to body wash to hand lotion, i can't get enough. (even my husband loves the smell of the stress relief products!)
my life has changed since i started taking vitamin d a few weeks ago.
for the past few months, i have noticed i've been hitting an afternoon wall, but it felt like much worse that the typical tired feeling people feel in the middle of the day. i sensed something was off, so i went to the doctor. the results were that i was (very) deficient in vitamin d (as many people are), so she recommended i start taking vitamin d pills. whether it's a placebo effect or not, my afternoon tired feeling is gone completely.
our wedding-themed shadow box
this weekend, my friend, erica, had a jewelry party at her apartment. looking around her place, she had so many beautiful pictures from their wedding as decoration, including much of the stationary she used. i was inspired! so, when ryan and i were hanging our wedding guest book and other wall art, i decided to put this together. i think it's a cute little way to display some of our invitations and thank you cards!
