DIY: Recycled Wine Bottle Soy Candles

1/31/2015

I started making candles a while ago and sold a bunch at a craft fair last summer. Still, there were some improvements I needed to work on.

Ryan's new obsession with his Dremel tool helped with one of these improvements. The wine bottles are great because they're:

a) Recycled
b) Aesthetically pleasing
c) Free!
d) Used (after) you drink the bottle of wine ;)

Soy candles are great because they're safer to breathe (compared to the normal paraffin ones we're used to seeing at most stores). We did a few with double wicks and some with just one wick.

If you want one, we're taking orders! Let us know what kind of wine bottle you'd like and what scent! Can't wait to hear from ya :)
