If you guys haven't realized just yet, my boyfriend and I tend to work on a lot of these DIY projects together. So, when he got a Dremel over Christmas, I had a feeling I would be borrowing it for a few fun jobs. I saw on Pinterest there are TONS of ways to use a Dremel, but my favorite one I saw was to etch glasses. So, etch I did! I went to the Dollar Store and started out with two wine glasses, costing me a whopping total of two buckaroos. Then, I used a Sharpee to draw the design I wanted on my wine glasses. This time, I was starting simple and planned on doing our two initials: L and R. Then, I strapped on my goggles and started etching using my Dremel. The first one took about 15 minutes to get nice and smooth. Once I had the practice, I finished the second one in only about ten minutes. As for the next ones I tackle, I'm thinking I'll go with a more challenging design.
Let me know if you would like one!!
